Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect through edulaapp.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run this website and our pilot program.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by MACANGA GAMES d.o.o., a limited liability company registered at Jana Žiška 2A, 31500 Jelisavac, Croatia (“Edula”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@edulaapp.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the edulaapp.com website and the pilot application form on it. It does not cover the Edula platform used by participating schools. How student and school data is handled on the platform is agreed separately with each pilot school before any student information is used.
3. Information we collect
When you apply for the pilot, you give us:
- your name and role
- your school’s name, country, and approximate number of students
- your email address
- your mobile number, if you choose to provide it
- anything you write in the message field, if you choose to
The form is intended for school staff. Please do not include personal information about students or other individuals in your message.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information needed to deliver pages securely, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request.
Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
No cookies or tracking. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking tools.
4. How we use your information
- to review your pilot application and contact you about it
- to understand which schools are interested in the pilot and what challenges they want to solve
- to keep the website secure and working
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Legal bases for processing
We process personal information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We rely on the following legal bases:
- steps taken at your request before a possible agreement, when you apply for the pilot
- our legitimate interests in running a secure website and assessing interest in the pilot, balanced against your rights
6. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website hosting and running the application form |
| Resend | Delivering pilot applications to our inbox by email |
| DreamHost | Hosting our email inbox |
| Google Fonts | Serving the fonts used on the website |
We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep it
We keep pilot applications for 12 months, after which we delete them. If your school joins the pilot, information about the pilot relationship is kept according to our agreement with your school. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for its standard, limited period.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- correct information that is inaccurate
- ask us to delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your information in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email privacy@edulaapp.com. We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Children
This website is intended for school leaders and staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through this website.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted HTTPS connections and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
13. Contact
